InterLINX® PRO SMS/IoT Communicator
InterLINX® PRO connects MATelec Australia Hydro Series and supported third-party equipment to Propitect® and SMS services for remote monitoring, alerts, and supported control.
- Hydro Series Integration
- Compatible Third-Party Integration
- Versatile Monitoring & Control

Overview
InterLINX® PRO is an advanced SMS and IoT communicator that works alongside compatible MATelec Australia Hydro Series controllers and supported third-party equipment.
It combines Modbus RTU communications with eight digital or pulse inputs, two analogue inputs and two changeover relay outputs to monitor field assets and support defined remote control functions.
Pump status, tank level, alarms, run hours and other operational information can be sent by SMS or made available through the Propitect® platform, helping operators identify faults sooner, plan maintenance and reduce unnecessary site visits.
4G LTE provides remote communications, while the built-in 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi hotspot provides local access to the browser-based configuration portal during commissioning. The DIN-rail format supports retrofit applications without replacing the primary control system.
Integrated battery backup and power monitoring help maintain fault awareness during supply interruptions. Available functions depend on the connected controller, field wiring, communications service and Propitect® configuration.
Product Details
Designed to Integrate MATelec Australia Hydro Tech
InterLINX® PRO is a powerful industrial communication gateway that brings remote monitoring, control, and connectivity to new and existing equipment. Combining 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Modbus RTU, digital and analog I/O, relay outputs, and battery backup, it seamlessly connects field devices to the Propitect® Portal for real-time monitoring, alarms, data logging, and remote access. Designed for fast installation and flexible integration, InterLINX® PRO provides a reliable IoT solution for pump stations, water infrastructure, industrial automation, and a wide range of remote monitoring applications.
Hydro Series Integration
Designed to integrate with compatible MATelec Hydro Series controllers through Modbus RTU, InterLINX® PRO can provide remote visibility of pump status, alarms, tank levels, run hours, and system performance through Propitect®. Access to operational data can support faster fault identification, proactive maintenance, and more efficient water management.
Compatible Third-Party Integration
InterLINX® PRO can connect to supported third-party controllers through Modbus RTU and to field equipment through configurable I/O. This can bring compatible assets into Propitect® for centralised monitoring and alarms without replacing the existing control system.
Versatile Monitoring & Control
Eight configurable digital or pulse inputs, two analogue inputs and two changeover relay outputs provide flexible connections for pumps, sensors, flow meters, switches, and other field equipment. The device can capture operating data, monitor asset status and support defined remote control functions. Relay outputs must be applied within their electrical ratings and may require interface relays or contactors.
4G LTE and SMS Communications
4G LTE enables remote alarms, status notifications, and supported commands by SMS, and can provide the communications path to Propitect®. Confirm the required SIM, data plan, signal coverage, and Propitect® service before commissioning.
Retrofit-Ready Design
Bring existing installations into a connected environment without replacing operational equipment. InterLINX® PRO can be added to compatible MATelec Hydro Series and validated third-party control systems, extending asset value while minimising installation disruption.
Integrated Battery Backup
An onboard battery backup is intended to maintain monitoring and communications during short power interruptions. Integrated power monitoring supports alerts for supply failure, low voltage, and restoration. Backup duration depends on battery condition, network activity, and site configuration.
Local Browser Commissioning
The built-in 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi hotspot provides local access to the browser-based configuration portal. Technicians can connect with a smartphone, tablet, or laptop to configure communications, alarms, and network settings without specialised programming tools.
