InterLINX® WiFi

InterLINX WiFi is a powerful and flexible communication gateway that enables IoT connectivity between MATelec controllers and the Propitect® platform.

Designed to integrate seamlessly with MATelec Australia Hydro Series controllers via Modbus communications, it also supports connection to other controllers and field devices through digital or pulse inputs. All system data is transmitted to Propitect® over a local 2.4 GHz WiFi network.

InterLINX WiFi enables comprehensive remote monitoring and control across the MATelec controller range, including both existing installations and future systems. For Modbus connected Hydro devices, users can remotely adjust parameters and setpoints, receive live fault notifications via SMS or email, and monitor pump status, runtime and system conditions. Operational data can be logged, graphed and exported remotely, providing clear visibility of performance and supporting proactive system management.

Designed to Integrate MATelec Australia Hydro Tech

InterLINX WiFi is purpose built to integrate seamlessly with MATelec Hydro Series controllers via Modbus communication. The device is preconfigured to recognise key controller registers, allowing Propitect to display HMI screens, pump run status, runtime data and live fault information.

This integration enables remote parameter adjustment, setpoint changes and system control where supported, giving service teams full visibility and control of system performance.

Back Dateable to Hydro in the Field

InterLINX WiFi can be added quickly to existing MATelec Australia controllers already in service. For HydroTOUCH and HydroWHIZ panels, the module mounts internally using the existing 24V DC supply and a Modbus connection.

For older HydroSTART controllers, InterLINX WiFi is supplied in a standalone enclosure that can be mounted externally, allowing Modbus communications to be added even where no internal DC supply exists.

Interface with Other Existing Controllers

InterLINX WiFi includes two digital inputs and a relay output, enabling it to accept common fault signals from a wide range of controllers such as APC6 units, undersink sullage systems, level alarms and rain or mains controllers.

These inputs allow all fault notifications to be viewed and managed through Propitect, while the relay output enables basic remote-control actions such as isolating valves or enabling and disabling connected equipment.

More Than MATelec Australia Technology

Universal Modbus communications allow InterLINX WiFi to interface with a variety of third-party Modbus enabled devices, including energy meters, weather stations and pulse flow meters.

With appropriate configuration and programming by MATelec, additional device data can be displayed within Propitect for expanded system visibility.

Simple Onboard Setup

InterLINX WiFi features a built in Wi-Fi hotspot for fast onsite configuration. Installers can connect directly using a phone or laptop to adjust device parameters, view live input and output status, rename the device, set time zones, update passwords and connect to the local Wi-Fi network for Propitect communication.

Versatile Input Capability

Digital inputs support direct connection to floats, switches and alarm contacts, while the relay output enables control of valves or other devices. Pulse input functionality allows logging of totalised data from flow meters and similar instruments, expanding the device beyond pump control applications.

Configurable to Any WiFi application

InterLINX WiFi communicates via a standard 2.4GHz WiFi network and includes an SMA antenna connection. High gain antennas can be fitted where signal strength is limited to ensure reliable communication.
